A view to the top of the mast this morning. We had the same birds yesterday also.
Two days in the Corsica have been great to relax and take care of some projects and work. The water is flat, there’s almost no boat traffic, we’re far enough from shore to get a little breeze and avoid the Mosquitos.
The town is nice with an old courthouse built in 1792 and several older houses. They also had an excellent ice cream store which was perfect on a summery day and a farmers market. What more could we need?
Apparently the wharves at the town used to be quite busy with schooner traffic. The approach to town is quite shallow so it’s hard to imagine now.
We’re headed to Annapolis now hoping to beat a line of thunderstorms to the west.
