Back in virgin gorda

We motor sailed back to Virgin Gorda from Road Town yesterday into 20-30 kts and choppy seas that reminded us of the chesapeake. We made it to bitter end at 1730. No empty moorings. So, we anchored off prickly pear island behind cactus reef. We could hear the reef breaking all night. The combination of the wind driven chop and the swell that refracted around the reef made for a rolly night. A fitting end to a bouncy day.

We moved over to bitter end before breakfast Wednesday. The kids made it on shore for the kids sail in a hobie. They had a squall blow over as they were sailing back in the hobie with gusts probably to 40. A little adventure is good for everyone.

We are starting to prep for thanksgiving, we even found a nice turkey here in gun creek.

Happy thanksgiving.
