Ok, it’s 80 degrees F, but the new receiver for Sirius works great here and they are playing Christmas songs 24/7. The crew made cookies this morning. The stockings are hung along with a lot of decorations. And, the water is turquoise and teeming with fish and coral for our daily snorkel. We are dreaming of a turquoise Christmas.
Last week, we were in St. Thomas and Greg went to California for a 44 hour trip. We moved out of the marina on Saturday and over to the east side of Charlotte Amalie harbor. Roxy (our anchor) held great with gusts into the 30s. Sunday morning, we headed out for Christmas cove. We expected winds on the nose in the mid-twenties and had that. At least until the 30 min squall that brought winds to 40.
Here’s the view this morning:
Here are a few views of what we’ve seen down under:
There are a lot of urchins and anemones here. These guys were at the shoreline and loved to grab onto anything that touched them.
The afternoons are also spent in various perches on the boat looking at the scenery.
