In and around town on Culebra

We still think that Culebra is great.  The main town is small and pretty low key even right before New Years.  There are a couple of small grocery stores that suit the holes in our pantry.  We have plenty of room in the anchorage and the two catamarans that came in today with the itty bitty anchors did not anchor upwind of us as they were first considering. And, there’s even spotty internet access and the AT&T network is up and working sometimes.

We’ve been busy.

Visiting the Playa Flamenco to fly a kite:

Looking at the tanks that were left on the beach.  Funny thing to leave behind, eh?

And admiring some of the architecture such as these doors over at the fish and wildlife office building on the east side of the harbor. I especially liked the contrast between the old door and building and the less old air conditioner.
