Can you imagine happier pigs than these pigs living well on the beach at Big Majors Spot in the Exumas?

We wondered about the story behind this plane.  The Exumas were (and some say still are) a hotspot for drug running.

Entering Thunderball Grotto at low tide was quite a different experience.  You could dive through submerged entrances (Hannes and I did this a couple of times) or enter through the larger, but still low entrance.  Either way, you arrived in this room and felt completely transported to a different world from the one only feet away outside.

Here’s an invasive lionfish happy as a clam inside the grotto.  He has lots and lots of food to eat and no one to eat him.  And, it is a no fishing area so I imagine no one brings spears to hunt him.

Outside the grotto, a nice reef claimed its space on the rocks.  The colors were like a modern, abstract painting at times.
