Warderick Wells in pictures

Warderick Wells is the heart of the Exuma Land and Sea Park that runs from Cambridge Cay in the south to Shroud Cay to the north.  Based on the huge numbers and diversity of fish, you can really see that having the park makes a difference.    Here are a few sights from Warderick.

Underwater just off the mooring field there was a nice “coral garden.’  We especially enjoyed swimming with this shark.  On the second day, he swam over and visited Hannes circling him within about 3 feet.

Boo Boo hill, a small hill near the mooring field has a nice view of the banks side.  If you stand on one hand and squint, you should be able to make out Hurrah in the picture.

At the beach, this whale skeleton was really neat.

We met up with friends on Happy Chaos.  In addition to two fun dinners together, the days were filled with piles of kids jumping around, swimming, running, and being free kids without much supervision or rules.
