Moving North Again

After heading mostly south of east all night, we are moving slowly north again. We are currently hunting the western edge of the gulf stream, but finding mostly the southbound counter
current just to the west of the stream. Now we have about a knot of southbound/SW current. Through the night, we had winds mostly NE or ENE from 15 to 25. The drop in velocity didn’t
happen as soon as the forecasts we saw yesterday morning, but the we are seeing wind in the mid teens now and are motorsailing with the main ENE.

Yesterday, we had a nice, fast sail down the Cape Fear river.

We have one fishing pole out, but haven’t tempted any guests yet.

Cheers
