We left Boston at 0430 on Thursday the 30th and had a nice trip to Onset.  Cuttyhunk was the original goal, but the sou’wester showed up and we were seeing gusts in the upper 20s even in the canal.   On top of what would have been a rough slog down Buzzards Bay, there were storms in the forecast for the evening.  Onset was a nice break.  This morning (Friday), the current starts to ebb (westbound in the Cape Cod Canal) around 10.  We’ll use that to make our way to Cuttyhunk today.

The adults woke to tea and waffles on the griddle this morning.  We could get used to this.
Here’s the view from Hurrah this morning.
